War is making box-office history and how! The deadly combination of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff has set the cash registers on fire
When Siddharth Anand announced that he will be bringing to two Bollywood hotties Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan for War, fans were losing their cool. We knew that this film would be a banger at the box-office but little did we know that film will rewrite HISTORY like this! No wonder the deadly combination of Hrithik and Tiger did wonder for the film as it has set the cash registers on fire. Just like we predicted, the film did a phenomenal job at the box-office.
That's not it, the film crossed the 50 crore mark by minting in Rs. 53.35 crore nett all India (Hindi: 51.60 Cr and Tamil & Telugu - 1.75 Cr) on day 1. With this latest trend, War surpassed the mega released films like Thugs Of Hindostan and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer which was holding the top position of Bollywood's biggest openers list collected Rs. 50.75 while Prabhas and Anushka Shetty starrer raked in Rs. 41 crores on day 1 in Hindi. This feat is even more commendable as the film had to 'War' with the magnum opus Sye Raa Narishma Reddy and Joker. Knowing it was also released in other South languages plus, War was released on around 3800 plus screens in Hindi, the total of the film will raise a notch higher.

War has crossed the epic 50 crore mark at the box-office on its opening day and that too with Hindi prints only. This could have been 55 crores if there was no competition on October 2.
